Terms and Conditions
Welcome to Spanish Language Institute!
We hope you’re just as excited as we are to be joining our language-learning family! But before we finalise your registration, please read our general terms and conditions below concerning course payment, compensation and non-attendance policies of Spanish Language Institute:
Payment:
- Payment should be given no later than the start of the course and/or lesson of that which is being paid.
- It is not possible to attend a lesson and/or course without prior full-payment or an agreed upon instalment plan – which is enforced by one of the following circumstances:
- The signature between SLI and Student on the Student Purchase Contract Policy.
- The acceptance of these general terms and conditions.
Compensation and Non-Attendance:
- Group Lessons:
- Should the student be absent of a lesson, they are not entitled to any compensation for that lesson – unless they satisfy the following requisite:
- The student can be entitled to full compensation due to medical or personal grievance issues. Student must notify SLI within 24 hours prior to the start of the course and/or lesson of any medical or personal grievance issues.
- Compensation will be given in the form of a complementary substitute lesson and will be held at the nearest possible date.
- Cancellation:
- Under the guise of the Plus Package and Full Immersion Package, a student is able to discontinue any future lessons, as well as receive full compensation (in the form of money) for any untaught lessons should they give at least 7 days notice to SLI of their desire to cancel their course registration. Proper compensation will be given strictly under the following major causes:
- Personal grievance issues
- Medical issues
- Transfer location of job
- Any other circumstance deemed major by SLI faculty.
- Private, Semi-Private and Online Lessons
- Should the student be absent of a private, semi-private or online lesson, in order to be entitled to full compensation, the student must notify their instructor at least 24 hours prior to the lesson they will not attend.
